CAD/CAM bundles cut to half price

Until the end of September 2005, manufacturing engineers and toolmakers can purchase one of two powerful CAD/CAM solutions at a reduced cost, saving up to 50% off the regular list price.

PTC has launched two outstanding price promotions on Pro/Engineer Wildfire manufacturing solutions.

The limited time offer, running until the end of September 2005, is designed to give manufacturing engineers and toolmakers the opportunity to purchase one of two powerful CAD/CAM solutions at a reduced cost, allowing customers up to 50% off the regular list price.

The two promotions are available to both existing and new customers.

The first offer bundles Pro/Engineer Wildfire and Pro/Engineer prismatic and multisurface milling option for just GBP 4500, compared with the standard price of GBP 9000, giving a 50% saving.

The prismatic and multisurface milling option includes robust NC programming capabilities for three-axis milling, as well as four- and five-axis positioning.

Manufacturing engineers can benefit from much shorter cycle times due to the single Pro/Engineer data model enabling any changes made to milling designs being automatically propagated to toolpaths and other deliverables.

The second offer bundles Pro/Engineer Wildfire and Pro/Engineer TDO (tool design option) for GBP 6300, giving tool designers the opportunity of the most powerful CAD toolset with unmatched tool design capabilities - at a saving of GBP 4500.

The most complex single- and multiple-cavity moulds and casts can be created in record time by using the tool design option.

Each step in the mould and casting process is automated, which means the bulk of the work is done for the user.
