New european distributor for Thin Client software

Pantek has signed an agreement with Thin Client management and enabling software supplier Automation Control Products to become its distributor for the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Pantek Ltd is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement with ACP (Automation Control Products, Alpharetta, GA) to become their distributor for the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Established in 1985, Pantek is ISO9001 Certified, a Microsoft Certified solution Provider, and the sole distributor for Wonderware products and training in the UK and Ireland.

In addition to ACP's Thin Client management and enabling software, ThinManager, Pantek will carry ACP's inexpensive Thin Client conversion card for standard PCs (ThinAdapter) and ACP's commercial Thin Client hardware.

Under a separate agreement, Pantek will also be a distributor for ACP Industrial Thin Clients made by Advantech (Advantech Co., Ltd., Taipei, Taiwan).

"We see tremendous interest in our Thin Client technology from companies outside the United States," said David Hancock, VP of Marketing for ACP," and we only expect this interest to increase as we begin to advertise and promote our products throughout Europe." While ACP's Thin Client products are an ideal platform for Wonderware's new InTouch for Terminal Services, Thin Clients using ACP's technology can load and run virtually any Microsoft Windows based application, including the new Thin Client products from companies such as Intellution and Citect.
