Discovery Day is free of charge, the only requirements being a factory tour and access to key personnel during Pantek's visit.
Pantek's subsequent report will provide a comprehensive overview - an indication of the way forward, and an extended vision of the future steps that companies can review and consider along with the benefits that would ensue.
Pantek will also provide an estimate of the costs involved.
The information gained from Pantek's Discovery Day will provide organisations with a clear roadmap of the best way forward via planned, strategic steps, backed by a clear return-on-investment justification.
Commenting upon the Discovery Day initiative, John Bailey, Pantek's Managing Director said: "Many of our customers are aware that the application of manufacturing systems is becoming essential in today's highly competitive manufacturing environment.
Unfortunately, these systems have traditionally been focused upon point solutions instigated by individual departments and not as part of an overall business strategy".
Bailey continued: "This is not surprising since business focus over the last decade or so has been elsewhere, with enterprise resource planning and supply chain management systems, Y2K and, more recently, dot.com issues taking preference over that of the shop floor.
