The Applicom Webgate industrial web gateway now supports the Uni-Telway protocol.

The Applicom Webgate industrial web gateway now supports the Uni-Telway protocol.

In addition to the Modbus Master protocol, the Webgate gateway now also supports the Uni-Telway protocol (slave mode, client/server) allowing for data exchanges with Schneider Electric controllers (Series TSX/PMX, TSX 17, Nano, Micro and Premium) or any compatible equipment.

The Webgate offers monitoring and remote control services via a simple Internet browser to access industrial devices connected on serial networks.

A secured web server, the Webgate gateway allows local access (via LAN) or remote through an Internet connection.

The Webgate includes a data storage mechanism to record process data, and an alarm feature enabling the user to set up automatic e-mail or SMS sending, outgoing calls through the Internet or writing to the digital outputs.

Out-of-the-box, it comes with HTML pages for configuration and diagnostics as standard.

The user can also design its own HTML pages to create custom operator interfaces.

An example application of the Webgate being the remote control of tank levels in wastewater treatment.
