Pantek has launched a rapid adoption programme for FactorySuite A2, Wonderware's Archestra Technology based product.

Pantek has launched a rapid adoption programme for FactorySuite A2, Wonderware's Archestra Technology based product Pantek is Wonderware's sole authorised distributor in the UK and Ireland

Commenting on the news, Pantek's MD John Bailey said: "I am delighted Pantek is able to make this announcement, clearly, it will be of benefit to many companies in their future purchases of Wonderware products including, of course, InTouch".

This exciting programme consists of three main elements to assist a market where this technology would be of paramount interest and importance.

First, the UK and Ireland list price of the FactorySuite A2 product range has been restructured to encourage the use of Archestra based components with price reductions across the whole range, including InTouch version 9.0, which incorporates the Archestra Smart Symbol technology.

Additionally, in the price reduction are the new FactorySuite A2 100k IO to 250 IO scalable options, recently announced by Wonderware.

Together, this means that the cost of a FactorySuite A2 system can be purchased for less than GBP 3500 in licence fees.

Secondly, to make it even easier to adopt the use of FactorySuite A2, Pantek has introduced a starter programme.

Customers who wish to install a trial system on their sites, will be provided with the smallest system free of charge, provided that the company agrees to train two of its engineers and take at least one day fast-start consultancy.

Thirdly, Pantek has developed a half-day seminar programme to help manufacturers understand how the FactorySuite A2 product can benefit them.

"We want companies to use our expertise for their benefit", explains Bailey.

"The seminars are free of charge and, on request, conducted at manufacturers' sites".

"These seminars are about education".

"Most companies know they want to do something, but first they need to know what is possible".

"Once they know the possibilities, then the specific requirements and potential benefits start to become clear".

The programme is available immediately.

Projects can be undertaken using, if required, one of Pantek's Certified System Integrators - all experienced in Wonderware products including FactorySuite A2.

In conclusion Bailey said: "Our customers' needs are changing".

"Just having a Scada system is no longer enough, and, as the move to build optimisation systems develops, the integration of the many 'islands of automation' becomes the key to a successful, long term, growing system".

"Wonderware has anticipated these needs and today has a product set that is both available and appropriate - from integrated panels and mobile tablets, through historians and visualisation, to full infrastructure".
