Pantek has been awarded the sole UK distributorship for Massachusetts based Network Vision's IntraVUE Ethernet network management tool.

Pantek has been awarded the sole UK distributorship for Massachusetts based Network Vision's IntraVUE Ethernet network management tool Commenting on being appointed UK distributor for IntraVUE, John Bailey said: "We're very pleased to be working with Network Vision; being a product that fills a gap between existing IT networking tools and what is needed to support Ethernet applications on the plant floor, IntraVUE fits well with our existing product portfolio of manufacturing management solutions"

Bailey continued: "IntraVUE's underlying concept is to provide an effective diagnostic tool that is simple and easy to use with its features and capabilities centred therefore on the requirement to manage groups of distributed Ethernet nodes".

IntraVUE gives users the ability to automatically discover and, more importantly, automatically map all IP devices in a network and show them on a single graphical display.

This dynamic overview simplifies network support and reduces costs.

"Pantek is an ideally suited company", states Mark Fondl President and founder of Network Vision.

"With their world class support structure they have proven to provide value to all of the software companies that they represent".

"We feel that Pantek will provide us with a partner which can support our projected rapid growth".

The software enables support documentation and device specific information to be linked to the graphical image of the device.

The graphic changes the colours of devices and connections to indicate potential problems and to show new devices as they are added to the network.

Networks can be captured and stored for future planning and for documentation of delivered or tested systems.

The software's ease of use makes it possible for users to understand and support any device connected to a TCP/IP addressable network.
