Wonderware has received Frost and Sullivan's Company of the Year Award for its pioneering work in the HMI and manufacturing software technology market segments.
Wonderware has received Frost and Sullivan's Company of the Year Award for its pioneering work in the human-machine interface (HMI) and manufacturing software technology market segments.
Wonderware products are sold and supported in the UK and Ireland by Stockport based Pantek.
The market analyst recognised ArchestrA software architecture as an important industry achievement that fulfils customers requirements for the engineering re-use and enable them to easily adopt new software solutions without abandoning prior investments in automation, production and IT systems.
This is the third consecutive year that Frost and Sullivan recognise Wonderware for its outstanding industry achievements.
Last year, Wonderware's InTouch human-machine interface (HMI) software received the industry research firm's Product Innovation Award.
In 2004, Wonderware received a Frost and Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award.
"ArchestrA technology enables customers to benefit from an open, industry standards-based software approach", said Mark Davidson, Wonderware's Vice President of Global Marketing.
"By using this highly scalable and flexible technology, customers can create innovative production and performance management solutions that evolve at their own business pace".
"These software solutions are rapidly repeatable across multiple production lines and plants, supporting low risk rollouts of best practices for manufacturing operations excellence".
Approximately 1000 automation and information projects at more than 700 locations worldwide have been successfully implemented using the latest ArchestrA technology based solutions.
In particular, this software architecture is being used across a broad range of applications including supervisory HMI, Scada and real-time production management (MES) and performance management (manufacturing intelligence).
