User conferences exceed expectations

The WonderWorld 2006 conference series was conducted at 19 locations throughout Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
Wonderware United Kingdom has announced that the WonderWorld 2006 user conferences exceeded expectations regarding the amount and variety of participating companies - approx 600 in Europe alone - as well as the balanced mix of business executives, engineering and IT professionals, most of which rated the event as good or even excellent.
Participating companies included BASF, Masterfoods USA, Porsche, SAP, PPG Industries, Tillamook Nucor Steel and many others.
The WonderWorld 2006 conference series - co-sponsored by Microsoft - was conducted at 19 locations throughout Europe, the US, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
The purpose was to provide executives, information-technology professionals, operations management and engineering personnel with essential information on how they can optimise plant and enterprise operations.
The educational sessions focused particularly on the 2006 motto "unleash operational excellence" for manufacturing and facility management.
"To stay competitive in the 21st century, organisations must move quickly to streamline their manufacturing operations as part of their overall business strategy for success", said SolutionsPT's Managing Director John Bailey.
