A new range of quick-strip and easy-to-maintain centrifugal pumps are ideal for transferring liquids in dairy, food, pharmaceutical and other similar process applications.

CSF-CS and CSA pumps can handle capacities from 1 to 500m3/h with heads up to 100m.

They are manufactured in investment cast AISI 316L stainless steel for all wetted parts, with a six-vane open impeller which enables the handling of liquids containing particles or small solids.

The pumps, which incorporate the key features associated with hygienic pumping such as electropolished finishing of all surfaces, have been designed for CIP cleaning with the elimination of stagnant areas.

They are also fitted with a clamp facility allowing for quick and simple dismantling.

The CSA version has an electropolished finish to 0.5um Ra and is approved to US FDA 3A standard or European EHEDG standards.

An even higher aseptic version is available for pharmaceutical applications.

Depending on the application CSF-CS and CSA pumps can be supplied with an internal or external single mechanical seal or flushed double mechanical seal for high-temperature liquids or those with a tendency to crystallise.

Elastomers are available in a choice of Viton, EPDM, silicon or PTFE.

Typical applications include cream, milk, oils, fruit juices, high purity water, cellular suspensions, sugar solutions, yeast and melted butter.
