Power Adhesives claims its new site gives users and distributors access to much more information than any other European adhesives and equipment manufacturer.
Power Adhesives has designed a website that is said to give its customers and users a great deal of information.
The company manufactures the TEC range of glue guns and Tecbond shaped hot melt adhesives and it claims that the content of its new site gives users and distributors access to much more information than any other European adhesives and equipment manufacturer.
Steve Sweeney, Power Adhesives Technical Director says "TEC glue gun users can now access drawings, instruction manuals, spare parts and accessories specific to both the model and serial number of the tool".
"The touch of a computer key is all that's needed to keep down ordering costs and speed up part replacement, reducing manufacturing down-time".
Sweeney went on to explain that the level of information about the Tecbond adhesives on the website goes beyond anything he has seen on the internet from other adhesives companies.
"We decided to hold very little back so that users can find out a wealth of information to help them understand the technical aspects of using adhesives or glue guns and have answers to any technical or safety questions at their fingertips".
Detailed information concerning 15 glue guns and over 30 adhesives is available on line.
The website has been created to help users and also to support Power's network of distributors not only throughout the UK but also in Europe and the USA.
Sales Director Bill Howlett told us "Our distributors are the lifeblood of our business but the sheer size of the range means it's not practical for them to hold every adhesive, glue gun or spare part in stock.
If a user needs a glue sample, accessory, or spare part urgently, the new website will allow us to despatch the item direct to the user overnight.
The website is another tool to help the local distributors provide the best possible service, whilst also maintaining direct contact with the users to ensure stock holding, servicing and technical support are available locally.
On visiting the site, one can see instantly how packed it is with invaluable information.
The company's leaflets and newsletters can be downloaded, there is a comprehensive fault finding guide and there are details concerning adhesive heat resistance, viscosity and open time.
Comprehensive health and safety data sheets of every adhesive manufactured by Power are available to download from the new site.
