How often have you tried to programme a digital display with tiny buttons and big fingers - had difficulty understanding instructions that ask you to hold the mode button down for x seconds and then listen for three beeps - then found that inquisitive fingers have upset all of your hard work and changed the settings? The Honsberg solution is a range of easy to use and tamper-proof transducers.
New from Honsberg and only available from their exclusive UK distributor PVL Ltd, is a patented range of tamper-proof and user-friendly pressure, temperature and flow transducers.
The Omni's have an easy to read back-lit LCD display and come with a revolutionary new detachable adjustment ring for ultimate security.
The ring is used to adjust parameters such as the high and low switch-point as well as the switching hysteresis.
Remove (or reverse) the adjustment ring and the transducer cannot be reset or altered in any way.
The Omni has two programmable switch-points, adjustable hysteresis and a standard 4-20mA or 0 - 10V output.
The display is protected by a toughened and scratch proof glass and the complete display can be rotated through 180deg for easy viewing.
A flexible 220mm (9") swan-neck fitted between the primary sensor and the display is an optional feature, which not only increases the Omni's temperature range but allows the display to be viewed at any angle.
Electrical connection is made using a standard M12x1 connector system with either straight or 90 degree connector plugs.
This simple to adjust and compact range of sensors are protected to IP67 and at this moment are available for pressure, temperature and flow applications.
New versions are in development to cover, differential pressure, vacuum, flow using an orifice plate and level utilising ultrasonics.
The Omni range is very competitively priced and is being offered by PVL with an introductory discount.
PVL and Honsberg believe that the Omni range is set to revolutionise the processing, as well as the hydraulic and pneumatics industries.
