Meter monitors hydraulic oil systems
The ClimaOil is a combined flowmeter and datalogger for monitoring hydraulic oil systems.
PVL has expanded its innovative Clima range with the launch of the ClimaOil - a flowmeter and datalogger for monitoring hydraulic oil systems Providing highly accurate calculation of oil flows from 6 to 600 litre/min, the ClimaOil also delivers a cost-effective method for measuring pressure, temperature and volume complete with full, in-built datalogging capability

Sensors prevent water damage in engines
The Riko water/fuel sensor detects water in petrol or diesel, warning that the filter or agglomerator needs draining.
The ClimaOil package is built around a highly accurate precision, laser cut turbine, mounted on sapphire bearings - with three versions to monitor flows from 6-60, 15-300 and 60-600 litre/min in oils with a range of viscosities.
The turbine also incorporates a 0-600bar pressure transducer and a 0-120C temperature sensor, and comes built into a section of pipe offering 0.5, 1 or 1.5in BSP connections.
The measuring instruments are connected via a dedicated combi-cable to a portable display/calculation unit - the PTQ Check - which measures and displays oil velocity, temperature and pressure, and then calculates and displays the oil flow rate.
The PTQ Check display unit also provides additional inputs for extra sensors with automatic sensor recognition.
The PTQ Check display unit is freely programmable for parameters and also offers features such as programming of zero point and slope.
Further features include storage of min/max values for each channel, differential measurements between pressures P1 and P2, and differential measurements between temperatures T1 and T2.
In addition to data monitoring and display on its illuminated, two-line LCD, the PTQ Check offers datalogging capabilities to store up to 15,000 values.
It also provides a serial data output for connection to printers, and is able to print data complete with time and date.
A further RS232 port allows logged data to be transferred to a PC in a format suitable for any standard trend analysis package such as Microsoft Excel. Request a free brochure from PVL ...
