Power supply conditions and protects
Powervar has launched its smallest all-in-one sinewave power conditioner and backup power supply, to extend the choice of ratings in its range of Security One Uninterruptible Power Managers (UPMs).
The Company rapidly outgrew its original facility at Shrivenham and had been forced to rent additional space in the Swindon area, while searching for a larger site to house its new HQ.
At Kembrey Park, Powervar has been able to bring all its operations back onto one site from where it can service its customers around the world.
Powervar serves all industrial and commercial markets but predominantly the retail trades and medical applications.
Its advanced systems "clean" the mains electricity supply to critical systems and maintain power continuity.
In the retail trades the integrity of an EPOS system is business critical, and in the medical field any power related problems with electronics equipment in laboratories, operating theatres or on the ward are potentially life threatening.
As electronic systems are employed ever more widely, the requirement for clean, continuous power grows; fuelling the demand for Powervar's advanced power protection technology.
