Power Jacks has published a new design guide catalogue for linear motion and power transmission products.

Power Jacks has published a new design guide catalogue for linear motion and power transmission products.

This design guide is the biggest produced to date by the company with 275 pages packed full of technical detail.

The increase in size from the previous 190-page version is due to Power Jacks continuous product development program and the acquisition of Precision Actuation Systems, Neeter Drive, Fortune Engineering and Youngs Lifting last year.

The products contained in the design guide include: screw jacks; electric linear actuators; roller screws; Neeter Drive bevel gearboxes; reduction gearboxes for helical and worm units; drive shafts and couplings for most power transmission solutions; electric motors as standard drives or with brake, forced ventilation or encoders; and motion control equipment.

The guide also includes an engineers' reference with useful formulas and tables.

All together it can provide a single source for engineers specifying equipment when designing a motion system.

The guide is available in paper and electronic format and copies can be ordered by contacting Power Jacks.
