Power Jacks begins 2005 with a major launch for its new website for linear motion and power transmission products, which includes screw jacks, electric linear actuators and bevel gearboxes.
Power Jacks begins 2005 with the launch of its new website for linear motion and power transmission products, which includes screw jacks, electric linear actuators and bevel gearboxes.
The new site has a completely new user interface for quick and easy access to both product and corporate information.
New features on the website include: navigation via "Windows style menus" or site map directory; a new download section, which uses database technology to allow the user to quickly find the required CAD drawing, product catalogue or maintenance manual from over 900 files available for download; a fast search facility; improved distributor listings with selection by geographic area using a graphical interface; an improved "news section" has the latest Power Jacks press releases all of which have an associated "press pack" available for download; a "frequently asked question" (FAQ) section provides an invaluable source of quick technical information for screw jacks, linear actuators and bevel gearboxes; the application section gives a flavour of some of the industries and applications where Power Jacks products can be used; for company history, profile and working methods the "about us" section provides a comprehensive review; CAD and PDF viewers are also available for download; and the site is optimised for fast page loading on dial-up or broadband Internet connections while maintaining high quality graphics.
The new website aims to cater for the growing need to access product and company information 24 hours a day from any location in the world.
Due to this increasing requirement the website will develop on a continuous basis with new sections and features already scheduled for future updates.
