Power Jacks has expanded its online 3D CADalogue with the addition of Neeter Drive bevel gearboxes.

Neeter Drive became part of the Power Jacks Group in 2002.

The gearbox models online benefit from the advanced product configurator that is an integral part of the CADalogue.

The product configurator allows a user to view and configure a solid model of Neeter Drives gearboxes online in real-time then download the required 3D solid model or 2D drawing.

Due to the intuitive interface of the configurator users can easily and quickly locate the bevel gearbox they require.

Alternatively a search facility allows users to find units by keywords or product series.

Once a gearbox is selected they can configure the technical specification for their exact requirements and generate a model.

As well as viewing the externals Neeter Drive also allow users to view the internal gear configuration of the model by displaying the model with a transparent gear casing.

This means user can quickly and easily check the direction of shaft rotation.

Once configured the user can download the gearbox CAD information as a 3D model or 2D drawing.

Over 20 model/drawing formats are supported including SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer, SolidEdge, AutoCAD, Catia, Unigraphics and SDRC-Ideas allowing the models/drawings to be easily integrated into system designs.

The ability for users of all major CAD systems to download compatible files directly into product designs saves hours and improves accuracy by enabling designers to test assembly and operation without having to manually recreate models from catalogues.

Time can also be saved in purchasing by using the electronic RFQ (request for quotation) facility to easily obtain pricing and other information.

The gearboxes included in the CADalogue at launch are: Neeter Drive Range-N; Series 35, 37, 38, 39 and 40; solid shaft and hollow shaft; gear ratios of 1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1; two-, three- and four-way drive shaft configurations; and gearboxes that can transmit torques up to 3085Nm.

The 3D CADalogue will have more products from Power Jacks portfolio added over the coming months further increasing the scope of this design resource.

The CADalogue already contains screw jack models for: E-Series metric machine screw jacks in nine capacities up to 1000kN; E-Series metric ball screw jacks in five capacities up to 200kN; and E-Series stainless steel metric machine screw jacks in six capacities up to 300kN.
