Power-IO has a new family of potentiometer-activated solid-state contactors.

Power-IO has a new family of potentiometer-activated solid-state contactors.

For use in manual proportional output control applications, these power switching products accept the industry-standard 0-5kohm potentiometer signal and convert it into a high-speed, time-proportional output that is ideal for use with resistive heaters, heat sealing bars, or as "manual station" temperature control zones.

With a high speed cycling capability of twice a second and a setpoint resolution of half sinewave; these contactors dramatically increase the life of the heater by reducing thermal stress.

Devices are available as single-phase units rated at 25 or 40A or three-phaseunits rated at 25 or 35A per leg.

The contactors include finger-safe caged terminals, an integral heatsink, and a universal mounting bracket for either DIN rail or panel mount installations.
