Contactor converts analogue input for PLCs

A Power-io product story

Power-io's DMA3-6V75T solid state contactor accepts an analogue 4-20mA control signal and provides a three-phase solid state contactor for resistive loads up to 25 or 35A/phase.

Power-io has released an improved DMA3-6V75T solid state contactor.

This three phase contactor accepts an analogue 4-20mA control signal and provides a three-phase solid state contactor for resistive loads up to 25 or 35A/phase.

The contactor converts the analogue input into a high speed time proportional output that is directly compatible with most PLCs or Scada systems.

In addition, the product can be used with a simple 5k potentiometer for easy installations.

The switched outputs are zero-crossing solid state back-to-back thyristors for long life and minimum electronic noise.

Typical applications include: resistive electric heaters, food processing heaters, heater control on plastics extrusion or blow moulding machines, and other process heaters.
