solutions

Nanopositioning specialist PI has acquired GSG Electronics.

Nanopositioning specialist PI has acquired GSG Electronics Munich-based GSG specialises in high-voltage control electronics and power supplies, especially for the control of high-end piezo-nanopositioning systems

GSG has also provided custom power supplies for several space missions such as the Rosat X-ray satellite.

The step of acquiring GSG was taken in order to further strengthen PI's knowledge base and manufacturing capabilities and follows the company's policy of vertical integration.
