PI offers the high-speed, low-cost P-713 and P-714 x-y-dithering stages for resolution enhancement and scanning applications.

These low-cost, piezo-driven stages feature a very high resonant frequency of 2.2kHz for millisecond responsiveness.

Integrated ultra-long-life piezoelectric drives provide subnanometre position resolution, important for high-resolution interlacing applications where the optical resolution of a CCD or CMOS sensor is increased by shifting it at high frequency between pixel positions.

Open loop (P-713) and closed loop (P-714) models are available.

Both versions were specifically designed for highly dynamic scanning and tracking tasks.

The closed-loop version provides higher linearity, the open loop version costs less.

The stages feature a very low profile of only 6mm for easy integration in various other applications such as scanning microscopy or in static nanopositioning tasks.

A variety of standard and low-cost OEM controllers in analogue and digital design is available to drive these stages.
