The Pixel 275 II is a new high performance four-axis gyrostabilised video system optimised for a wide range of airborne applications including electronic news gathering, documentation and mapping.

Equipped with a Sony DSR-PD170 video camera with 12x optical zoom the Pixel 275 II delivers superb image quality making it ideal even for the most demanding applications.

Ready for digital recording to Mini-DV, DV-CAM or computer, the Pixel 275 II incorporates the latest in digital video recording technology, ensuring that imagery is recorded at the highest possible quality.

A selectable video overlay feature enables users to present GPS data, date time, as well as pointing information on the onboard screen.

The Pixel 275 II uses Polytech's proven four-axis composite gimbal system that provides stabilisation to match the top performance of the onboard video camera.

For airborne systems, sise and weight are of considerable importance.

Lower weight and size means improved lift margin, reduced drag and consequently longer mission endurance.

Measuring only 275mm external diameter and constructed from lightweight high stiffness composite materials the affordable Pixel 275 II has been designed to operate on almost all airborne carriers.
