Quickparts has successfully completed the expansion of its new facility in Atlanta.

Quickparts has successfully completed the expansion of its new facility in Atlanta.

The expansion to the 680m2-plus facility was made necessary by the rapid growth of the Quickparts business due to the overwhelming market acceptance and success of its online instant quoting system for custom manufactured parts.

"We simply busted out the seams of our existing space in Huntsville", said Quickparts President Ronald L Hollis, PE.

"As our customer base continues to grow, we are hiring more and more project managers, programmers, and management to run the business and accelerate the deployment of our future web-based instant quoting engines".

At the heart of the Quickparts website is QuickQuote, a revolutionary breakthrough in automatically and instantly analysing a user's custom geometry right on the website.

QuickQuote will read the customers solid model, analyse the geometry, and instantly produce a binding price quotation for the manufacture of the parts based on the unique geometry and the customers material and quantity input.

Hollis continued: "Our expansion comes at a critical time in the evolutionary growth of Quickparts.com, as we are very close to completion and announcement of very exciting strategic partnerships".

"We expect those alliances to cause acceleration in the growth of our customer base".

"We need to be able to serve our new customers according to our high standards".

"This new facility will help us do just that".
