Quickparts has a new white ABS-like stereolithography (SLA) material for use in rapid prototyping and RTV patterns.
Quickparts has a new white ABS-like stereolithography (SLA) material for use in rapid prototyping and RTV patterns "For our customers that need functional detailed SLA parts, Quickparts is now offering a new rigid ABS-like material (Somos 14120) that is strong, tough, and water resistant", said Mark Mackie, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Quickparts
"Somos 14120 provides design engineers with a durable option without sacrificing any performance features".
"And with its white opaque appearance, Somos 14120 offers a similar look to traditional plastics such as ABS".
Somos 14120 joins a number of other DSM Somos materials currently being offered at Quickparts, including Rigid (Somos 11120), Durable (Somos 9120), Flexible (Somos 8120), High-Resolution Durable (Somos 9120), High-Resolution Rigid (Somos 11120), and WaterClear (Somos 11120).
