Material sample kit lets users touch, feel and compare standard resins and finishes for rapid prototyping and rapid injection moulding process.
Quickparts has available a material sample kit that lets its customers touch, feel and compare standard resins and finishes for rapid prototyping (stereolithography, selective laser sintering and fused deposition modelling) and the firm's rapid injection moulding process, Quicktool Express.
Customers receive a sample of the 14 standard materials available from the most popular rapid prototyping processes: stereolithography - ABS-like (Somos 14120), water-clear (Somos 11120), rigid (Somos 11120), flexible (Somos 8110), high-resolution rigid (Somos 11120), high-resolution durable (Somos 9120) and durable (Somos 9120); selective laser sintering - Duraform, Duraform GF and Somos 201; and fused deposition modelling - ABS, ABSi and polycarbonate.
Also included are multiple texture samples from Quickparts' rapid injection moulding process, Quicktool Express.
With Quicktool Express, design engineers can get instant online quotes for injection moulded parts delivered in 10 days or less.
