QIS and TrimTracker tools available over the Web

QISoft has joined Industrial Evolution's BestInClass program for Internet-based delivery of its QIS Quality Information and TrimTracker applications to Pulp and Paper customers

QISoft has announced that it has joined Industrial Evolution's BestInClass program for Internet-based delivery of its QIS Quality Information and TrimTracker applications to Pulp and Paper customers around the world.

Under terms of the 3 year agreement, QISoft will make its entire suite of QIS and TrimTracker tools available over the Web on a no up-front cost subscription basis.

QIS functions being made available include real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, product conformance reports with certificates of analysis, and process performance reports.

In addition, the TrimTracker product makes roll based quality data, including 2D and 3D profiles, available on the Internet as well.

The BestInClass applications strategy aims to assist customers in the process and manufacturing industries improve their operational performance through the deployment of software applications co-hosted on secure Web servers with customer operational and production data.

Applications can be integrated with real-time and historical process data as necessary to best produce results that accurately and reliably help improve operating performance.

BestInClass applications are delivered through the IndustrialEvolution.com e-business environment, ensuring security of customer data and application settings.

This e-business environment performs the necessary administrative functions to manage a customer's use of the software applications, such as user authentication and usage monitoring.

The IndustrialEvolution.com e-business environment is available for use by all vendors and is specially designed to require minimum change to existing applications.

Industrial Evolution uses the PI System from OSI Software as the standard data platform for hosting of real-time data and application results, facilitating inter-application communications and avoiding unnecessary integration work with various on-site systems.
