The introduction of CheQweigh allows manufacturers in many process industries to save money and still ensure total compliance with weights and measure legislation.
With many firms overfilling by as much as 2.5 percent the savings are enormous.
Data for the CheQweigh system can be collected automatically or input manually.
Advanced statistical tools enable detailed analysis of data over any time period.
These are presented graphically with values plotted against target profiles so that any variance from the required performance is highlighted, logged and reported to the operator.
A full history of each period is maintained recording alarms, actions and conformance.
Several reporting options allow performance to be assessed over the short to long term.
The CheQweigh software is suited to solid, liquid and granular products.
Applications arise in frozen food, dry goods, packaged groceries, drinks and many other sectors.
The system handles items in any weight range.
CheQweigh is compatible with all on-line checkweighers and integrates with business and manufacturing systems.
The system is easy to install and can accommodate multi-drop networks using a noise resistant cable system.
System operation is based on Department of Trade and Industry guidelines as given in the Packer's and Inspector's Guides.
Sample weight data is accumulated automatically or by manual weighing and keying, over a period determined by production rate or local demands.
The product is fully compatible with QISoft's industry leading quality process monitoring package, QIS.
