JR Crompton has placed an order to upgrade its existing quality systems to QIS v5 to support improved process monitoring and product quality initiatives.
JR Crompton, the worlds leading supplier of speciality paper to the tea industry, has placed an order to upgrade its existing quality systems to QIS v5 to support improved process monitoring and product quality initiatives within the group.
As existing users of QIS since the mid 1990s, operators, supervisor and managers will benefit from the enhanced functionality to further help identify and deliver process improvement opportunities.
The new document management and reporting modules ensure efficient delivery of information to operators and customers alike.
Another new feature is a global specification change wizard which makes light work of even the largest and most complex specification changes.
For the upgrade, QISoft will provide comprehensive training, project management and full data migration all backed by 24-hour support.
The upgrade will be phased in during Q3 at the Heywood Mill swiftly followed by Lydney Mill.
Future plans include interface options to the process control and business systems.
