Qisoft has appointed Jonathan Hulme and Sam Luxton to its software development team, reporting to Colin Marney, Technical Director.

They will be based initially at the UK office in Leyland, Lancashire.

Hulme assumes the position of Software Engineer and is currently working on projects to add additional functionality to the QIS v5 document management and data export modules.

Following a mathematics degree at Manchester University, he has built up over 15 years experience within the industry, most recently working for Marconi Telecommunications.

Luxton has been appointed Junior Software Engineer with specific responsibilities for web-based development.

He will play a vital role in the expansion of Qisoft to meet the increasing demand from customers for web-based applications.

"Following recent growth and the expansion of the business we welcome Jonathan and Sam to the team", says Marney.

"They join at an important time as we focus on the development of the next major release of QIS".

"Their work will enable us to improve development turnaround time and to offer a wider range of solutions to our customers".
