QiSoft has completed the installation of its Quality Information Software, QISv6 at Smurfit-Kappa's Townsend Hook Mill in Kent, UK.
QISv6 is a high-performance, distributed-information management system which provides a 'single window' view of operational data from a variety of data sources.
The SQL-based database application is deployed at Townsend Hook via Citrix Terminal Server and has been installed in the production, technical and laboratory areas of the mill.
To provide a clear 'information picture' across the mill, interfaces were setup using the QIS Processlink to connect with the Landw Autoline 400 paper-testing system and Oracle-based business systems.
