Quadrispace has announced powerful 3D rendering technology for its documentation software.
The Quadrispace Document3D Suite is used to create documents, illustrations and animations from 3D CAD models, and then share printed or interactive 3D documents with others through standard formats.
The recent release of Quadrispace offers large-model support for 3D documentation software.
Quadrispace products provide tools for working with large complicated assemblies and documentation projects.
According to the company's head-to-head performance testing, Quadrispace averaged 38 frames per second when compared to typical competitors, which averaged seven and 11 frames per second.
All testing was done on the same computer with identical rendering settings.
Configurations allow users to select a group of parts quickly, generate a parts list from a subset of parts, and easily work with large models to create exploded views and illustrations.
Smart Template Technology allows users to rapidly generate hundreds of pages of useful information from parts lists, exploded views and illustration sets.
With a simple wizard, pages can be populated with graphical content representing each row of a parts list, each step of an exploded view or each illustration in an illustration set.
This combination of 3D performance, Smart Template Technology and configuration tools can produce up to a 90 per cent reduction in product documentation time and costs, it is claimed.
Quadrispace is a software package that includes all the tools needed to effectively work with large 3D assemblies.
