QSSolutions - Engineered Systems Group has received the first annual CADwire.net Innovator Award for Iced*CAD.
Iced*CAD - Intelligently Created Engineering Drawings from CAD - is a novel technology that puts a twist on the old-school methods of creating assembly drawings.
Iced*CAD "reads" a parts list from the assembly bill of material residing in a manufacturing system database, pulls the individual component drawings and intelligently assembles the components "on-the-fly" in a CAD system using the existing APIs.
Iced*CAD is fully web-enabled and works alongside a native CAD program's web viewer as well as integrating with other manufacturing enterprise technologies already in place.
