Deligo cofounder Arthur Carlucci has been promoted to head the software firm, replacing current President and CEO Thomas W Kelly.
Deligo Technologies, the developer of the award winning Iced*CAD engineer-to-order technology, has announced a change in company leadership.
Deligo cofounder Arthur Carlucci has been promoted to head the software firm, replacing current President and CEO Thomas W Kelly.
Carlucci, Vice President and General Manager in the company's Fairmont, West Virginia office, has worked closely with Deligo clients in the implementation of Iced*CAD software, an application which integrates manufacturers' business and engineering workflow into a single automated process.
"I'm very pleased with this opportunity to continue to expand Deligo's vision for manufacturing and also to continue to support the success of our clients", says Carlucci.
Iced*CAD allows customers to build, price, and order assemblies of a vendor's parts online, then automatically draws the configurations into 3D CAD models for both the client and the production team.
This automation eliminates the long work cycles required for salesperson and engineer review.
Kelly departs from the top spot at Deligo to pursue other opportunities, the company reported, although he will remain intimately involved with future Deligo ventures as a member of the Board of Directors and continues to be a strong proponent of the company.
Kelly has been responsible for developing the initial ideas of engineer-to-order into a technology that has changed the face of manufacturing.
Iced*CAD was lauded earlier this year by Start magazine as the best technological innovation by a small business.
"To see the growth of Iced*CAD through the marketplace and have so much positive response from the industry has been a gratifying experience for me", said Kelly.
"I am confident that Art will lead Deligo into the right direction".
"Iced*CAD has made great strides as a new way of thinking for manufacturers", says Carlucci, "but its potential is even greater".
