A new range of connector housings from Pactec now complements the wide variety of Erni D-subminiature and RJ connectors from Radiatron, enabling the company to provide a complete one-stop packaging and interconnection service for data communications and interface devices.

The Pactec housings come in black or beige as standard, with a wide choice of custom colours also available.

Featuring moulded connector openings, the top and bottom covers snap together around the connector gripping elements.

The ends, sides, tops and bottoms can all be customised.

The connector housings are ideal for small footprint applications in gender changers, daisy chaining, printer interfaces, LAN/WAN connectors and RS232-to-modular connectors.

Using insert tooling for the connector openings, 156 different end and connectors variations are possible.

They can be supplied in short, medium, and long versions.

27 of the most common combinations are available from stock.

D-sub and modular jack connectors can be supplied in all standard pin configurations with the former available with SMT, pressfit, through hole, IDC, crimp, and solder bucket terminations.

In addition to standard modular jacks, 10/100BaseT and 100BaseT connectors with integral transformers are offered.

The filtered connectors reduce component count, assembly complexity and board costs while still providing industry-standard pinouts.
