A total of ten different AC and DC coil ratings are available, together with a choice of current rating and contact form, all backed by UL and VDE approval and either -40 to +85C or -40 to +70C operating range.
The availability of transparent housings makes the relays particularly suitable for applications such as lighting, motor or heating control or other automation systems where visual inspection of contact condition is part of system maintenance procedures.
The single pole N/O and C/O versions are available in 12A and 16A ratings, while the double pole C/O contacts are rated at 8A.
Double pole, transparent cover and AC coil versions are rated to +70C, while all other models are rated to +85C, with all models offering 4kV isolation between coil and contacts, together with 8mm creepage distance.
As well as helping manufacturers to meet the RoHS directive regarding lead and cadmium, the RX family is available in either flux-proof or wash-tight versions to match volume production requirements.
DC coils feature a 500mW rating with 70%/10% pull-in and release voltages, while the AC versions are rated at 0.75VA and 75%/15%.
Single pole models are available with either 3.5mm or 5mm pitch pins, with the double pole models being 5mm.
All models fit standard 29mm x 12.7mm footprints.
