A new high-performance single-part cure-on-demand adhesive can significantly reduce in-process inventory and increase productivity.
RBC Industries has a new high-performance single-part cure-on-demand adhesive it claims can significantly reduce in-process inventory and increase productivity The new clear UV-curable adhesive is ideal for bonding ferrite cores
Its cure-on-demand capability eliminates the need for lengthy cure cycles or elevated curing temperatures.
UV 5037-A is a polyurethane based UV-curable adhesive which demonstrates superior adhesion to ferrite.
Exposure to a UV light source with a wavelength of 265-335nm and an intensity of 300W/in will effect a full cure in 3-5s.
The combined advantages of a single-component material and cure-on-demand technology make this adhesive an excellent candidate for high-speed production assembly.
