Robin will be displaying its latest 16th Edition testing equipment, PAT testers, continuity testers, environmental monitors and multimeters at Electrex.
In the event of a detectable fault occurring, the buzzer will pulse, instead of issuing a continuous tone.
The SM200 is the mid-range model of Robin's newly introduced SocketMaster series of ergonomically designed socket testers.
The top-end SM300 is the only socket tester on the market which also checks 30mA RCDs.
Two soft-touch buttons on the SM300 provide tests for RCDs and for raised earth voltages.
It also has a similar audible warning feature to the SM200 to aid detection of wiring faults.
The SM300 and the bottom of the range SM100 offer the same five checks of wiring connections.
