Robin has a full range of products for PAT testing, from state-of-the-art portable appliance testers, through data management software and customer documentation, to test labels and barcode scanners.

Robin offers an inclusive range of products for PAT testing, from state-of-the-art portable appliance testers, through data management software and customer documentation, to test labels and barcode scanners.

Since the introduction of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, the periodic testing of portable appliances has become a widely adopted practice to both ensure the safety of portable appliances and to comply with the legal requirements of the regulations.

The Robin SmartPAT 5500 and SmartPAT 3500 represent the most up to date PAT testing technology.

The SmartPAT 5500 features an integral floppy disk drive for the storage and easy transfer of test results from appliances and IEC inlet leads.

This feature and the pre-loaded standard test sequences save time on-site and thus increase productivity.

The 5500 performs all the portable appliance tests prescribed by the Health and Safety Executive, including earth bond, insulation, fuse continuity, run/leakage and flash voltage.

Robin PowerPAT Plus software is a simple-to-use Windows-based software package that manages portable appliance test records, from multiple sites if required.

It will produce professional reports and also enables comparisons with previous readings.

It stores results downloaded from Robin PAT testers, or data from other testers which can be added manually.

PAT testing accessories include barcode labels and intelligent scanners, a mini printer to print out stored test results on-site, adapters for 110V power sockets and to test extension leads, test "pass" and "fail" labels, and test logbooks.
