Video takes on latest wiring regs
Robin has produced a video for electrical installers which covers the extra demands of the latest 16th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2001.
Robin PowerCert II electrical installation test certificate software provides an ideal solution to the documentation of results to satisfy the 16th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
This demands that contractors carry out a myriad of installation tests which are then used to produce certificates.
PowerCert II is quick and easy to use.
It manages all test records and enables comprehensive reporting on a wide range of professional site inspection and test sheets.
This includes data on cable and protective devices, as well as comparisons with previous readings.
It has extensive Help facilities and includes automatic error checking functions.
PowerCert II is also 'Palm enabled'.
On a large installation, the paper recording of a multitude of site details and readings can not only be very time consuming, it can also lead to errors when copying the results into reports back at the office.
The unique 'Palm-enabled' feature offers the ability to upload blank certificates from PowerCert II to a Palm OS handheld.
Details, such as location and type of supply can then be added to the certificate on-site, using the Palm computer.
Robin PowerPAT Plus software is simple-to-use software that manages portable appliance test records.
It stores descriptive details of each appliance, where it is located, its unique identifier and the results of prescribed Health and Safety Executive tests.
These records may be downloaded to PowerPAT Plus directly from a Robin PAT tester or can be entered manually from other testers.
A variety of reports can be printed and the latest results can be compared with the previous record.
The software can be used to store all the records from a number of sites, and separate reports produced for each site.
