Reseller deal spreads software supply
and support

Agreement means worldwide customers of CAM software will have one point of supply and support for high productivity design-to-manufacturing products incorporating 3D mechanical design application.

Planit Holdings has signed a group-wide agreement to become an Autodesk Inventor Unique Application Reseller As a result, worldwide customers of Planit's Radan and Alphacam software will have a single point of supply and support for high productivity design-to-manufacturing products incorporating the Autodesk Inventor 3D mechanical design application

The collaboration also builds on Radan's reputation as an Autodesk System Centre.

"Radan has enormous experience of providing products that include Autodesk design software and, certainly in the UK, we acknowledge the company as our leading partner in the sheet metal sector", said Kevin Ison, Autodesk Sales Director.

"Autodesk's Unique Applications Reseller programme recognises that manufacturing companies require highly competent suppliers, who understand their processes from end to end".

"We feel that Radan and its sister organisations within the Planit group clearly offer this".

Planit's manufacturing software covers the complete spectrum of user industries and includes Alphacam two to five axis machining modules for metal, stone and woodworking applications, as well as Radan's sheet metal punching, profiling and bending products.

"The integration of Autodesk Inventor with our software and support services enables us to add significant value to our customers' operations", said Patrick Love, Planit's Group Sales and Marketing Director.

Radan and Alphacam software will be demonstrated at Mach 2006 at Birmigham's NEC from 15th to 19th May.
