Radan 07 will be previewed by the company on stand F01 in Hall 16 at the forthcoming Euroblech exhibition taking place in Hanover between 24th and 28th October 2006.

Radan 07 will be previewed by the company on stand F01 in Hall 16 at the forthcoming Euroblech exhibition taking place in Hanover between 24th and 28th October 2006.

Key features in the new software focus on maximising sheet utilisation, reflecting the continuing high cost of raw materials worldwide.

Radan 07's enhanced "true shape" nesting capabilities deliver higher material utilisation than ever before through functionality to nest components around clamps, provide finer angular orientation of parts within the nest and accurately compensate for individual tool shapes.

In addition, Radan 07 incorporates improved methods for the handling of partly used sheets, with the ability to automatically record remnants for re-use by Radan's "remnant nesting" tools.

Also on show at Euroblech will be the latest release of RadbendCNC, which extends Radan's "total solutions" concept to include offline programming of press brake machines, with full 3D-model simulation of the bending process.

Offering simple operation with high productivity, the software includes features such as automatic bend sequence calculation, automatic tool selection and automatic finger stop placement, as well as powerful collision detection of components with the machine and its tooling.

Providing the ability to programme and verify bending operations offline, RadbendCNC frees up valuable machine time, improves first-off reliability and reduces manufacturing costs.

In addition, the software now supports an even wider range of machine tools, including Amada, Beyeler, Darley, Edwards Pearson, Pullmax/Ursviken, Safan and Trumpf.
