Time is right for expanded UK tooling operation
Global PET tooling specialist R+D Tool and Engineering has confirmed that its UK operation will be relocating to a larger purpose-built facility in July 2006.
R and D's UK facility oversees all group activities outside of the Americas and the move comes on the back of continued rising sales, penetration into to new export markets and an expansion of RandD's sales network in Europe and the Middle East in recent years.
Operations are due to be transferred over to the new factory during October and it is expected that the close proximity of the new and old facilities will enable there to be a relatively smooth transition in operations.
R and D is planning to hold its first UK Open House event at the new facility for existing and prospective customers in April 2007.
Further details will be announced in due course.
