MCL range load cells are high quality, low-cost tension and compression amplified load cells which are resistant to side loading and the effects of extraneous forces.
A common issue surrounding load measurement accuracy is off-axis forces which affect the output integrity of conventional load cells.
RDP Electronics has solved this problem with its MCL range.
These high quality, low-cost tension and compression amplified load cells are resistant to side loading and the effects of extraneous forces.
The secret behind the design is RDP's proven capacitor sensor technique, coupled with miniaturised conditioning electronics which are built into the MCL's compact housing.
With range options from ñ 50N to ñ50kN, MCL load cells offer reliability, accuracy and simplicity, low cost, an excellent size-to-capacity ratio, and are ideally suited to applications in robotics and research test rigs.
