RDP's modular 600 electronics system combines signal conditioning, power and local display facilities in a Eurocard format for a wide range of transducers When using strain gauges, the 628 module provides precision amplification and calibration of strain gauge outputs including switchable microstrain ranges
The 628 module is calibrated for use with gauges of known gauge factor and, in addition, both manual and automatic bridge balance facilities are included.
The module has a calibrated gauge factor dial and gain compensation for different numbers of active arms so that the output can be proportional to microstrain.
Offering both voltage and 4-20mA outputs, the 628 calibrated strain gauge signal conditioning amplifier is part of an extensive family of Modular 600 electronics including a digital display, and specific signal conditioning modules for LVDT transducers.
