A new compact version of the popular S7AC LVDT inline amplifier contains all the required circuitry to excite, condition and amplify the transducer.
RDP Electronics has launched a new compact version of its popular S7AC LVDT inline amplifier, containing all the required circuitry to excite, condition and amplify the transducer Thanks to the use of the latest surface mount production techniques, this has resulted in an extremely compact IP65 module, which can also be supplied with a DIN rail mounting option

Sensor amplifiers now offer DIN rail mounting
The S7 range of transducer amplifiers accommodates nearly all analogue sensors from LVDTs to capacitive and inductive transducers.
Designed for use with RDP's extensive range of LVDT and half bridge displacement sensors, the S7AC is also compatible with the majority of other brands on the market.
It is simplicity itself to set up and calibrate, having a gain of 500 in eight steps, with "fine" control and a bandwidth of 500Hz.
Also incorporated is an "over-range" indicator which warns if the demodulator input exceeds the linear range.
The output can be configured for bipolar or unipolar operation having a maximum of +/-10V or 4-20mA, using a choice of DC power supply voltages. Request a free brochure from RDP Electronics ...
