RDP Electronics' EP series magnetostrictive sensor provides a linearity of 0.02% to a repeatability of 0.001%.
The rugged industrial EP magnetostrictive sensor, available from RDP Electronics, offers machine builders an ideal, low cost solution for measuring and controlling linear positions in an automated system.
Using the MTS magnetostrictive absolute principle, the EP series provides a linearity of 0.02% to a repeatability of 0.001%.
Measuring ranges are available up to 2200mm with analogue outputs of 4-20mA, or 0-10V.
The sensing magnet, which identifies the system position, can be supplied in various styles to assist the design engineer with attachment to the part to be controlled.
