Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 21, 2007

Data can be stored in the 628 strain gauge amplifier's internal memory.

The 628 strain gauge amplifier from RDP Electronics provides a cost-effective system for material and test engineers studying stresses and strains during materials analysis.

It is suited for use on airframes, automobile chassis and pipelines.

The 628 amplifier, with selectable gauge factor, is simple to use.

When installed into RDP's Modular 600 Rack populated with a 650 serial interface data logger it enables test data to be logged.

Data can be stored in the device's internal memory.

Alternatively RDP offers freeware suitable for most computers that permits results to be analysed in spreadsheet form.
