The R series device allows positioning of up to 15 magnets along the length of the sensor, significantly reducing installation and maintenance costs.
RDP Electronics' MTS Temposonics R series Profibus magnetostrictive position sensor provides accurate, absolute position measurement.
Typical applications include slitting lines, paper making machines and cut to length lines.
The R series device allows positioning of up to 15 magnets along the length of the sensor, significantly reducing installation and maintenance costs associated with an encoder microswitch or proximity switch solution.
By using the rod version, lengths of 7500mm are available, or up to 12,000mm if using the RF flexible system.
