The TJE features a "true gauge" design using a second welded diaphragm hermetically sealing the strain gauges from external contamination.
For applications such as test rigs where robustness and accurate pressure monitoring with long-term stability is called for, RDP recommends the Model TJE pressure transducer.

An absolute version also has an all welded vacuum reference chamber ensuring long term stability.
Versions available cover the range from 345mbar to 4137bar.
In situations where integral electronics are not appropriate they can be used with an inline amplifier such as the RDP S7DC for greater flexibility and security.
