LVDTs come with with 4-20mA output

A RDP Electronics product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 22, 2008

RDP now offers 4-20mA output as an option on a wide range of transducers, either directly or in conjunction with a simple external module.

With more than 40 years of experience in the design and manufacture of LVDTs RDP Electronics has also been involved with significant advances in external control systems, including the widespread adoption of the 4-20mA two-wire interface.

In recognition that a majority of controllers use the simple 4-20mA system, RDP now offers this output option on a wide range of transducers, either directly or in conjunction with a simple external module.

RDP LVDTs with 4-20mA output offer connection simplicity, are robust against accidental damage, possess great immunity to interference and only require a two-wire cable, which can be very long.
