RDP Electronics offers intrinsically safe measurement systems made to order.
Installation of items to the ATEX standard is required where there is or may be the presence of gases, mists or vapours which may be explosive.
The standard, describes, among other things, the type of equipment that can be used and the installation precautions that must observed in order to minimise the risk of explosion.
RDP supplies transducers, amplifiers and barriers, complete with design and installation drawings plus safety documentation for the entire measurement system.
Most, but not all the company's range of LVDT transducers, load cells and pressure transducers can be included in ATEX classified applications, and guidance can be obtained from the RDP technical sales team.
